Made from scratch breakfast is included in your stay at The Laughing King. Served around 9am in the house’s kitchen complete with waterfront views, enjoy a variety of signature dishes.
The real treat is sharing a table with other guests, making connections and sharing vacation tips. Dietary restrictions are no problem. Just let us know ahead of time. Breakfast is paired with Laughing King's custom coffee blend, roasted exclusively for us by Eastern Shore Coastal Roasting Company, a bold French roast worth waking up for.
The Beach
Guests of The Laughing King enjoy some of the best waterfront views on the Chesapeake Bay. Walk down the back steps a private beach with paddle boards, canoes, and kayaks. Head down the creek to harvest fresh oysters or just soak up the sun. Explore miles of sugar-white sand on the sandbar, a paradise that comes and goes with the tides.
Take a break from the Bay with a dip in our saltwater pool, complete with waterfront views. Lounge poolside on chaise lounges or enjoy the shade under the palapa.

Pets are only allowed in The Honeymoon Cottage. The Laughing King is unfortunately unable to accommodate four legged friends in any other rooms.

Smoking is not allowed on The Laughing Property.
Occupancy is limited to registered guests staying at The Laughing King, unless the full property or an event space has been rented.
Rooms requiring excessive cleaning or containing damage will be the responsibility of the guests and fees will be charged to the credit card on file. Fees will be charged at the discretion of The Laughing King.
